Here's what Jeff Cavanaugh is predicting for the first round:
We already know this.
The best corner in the draft ends up in Detroit who I'm sure would be happy to have someone move up for a QB and still let them get him. But guessing at trades is a fool's errand, so I'll just leave them here at 3 where they may be stuck.
They get their choice of offensive tackles to protect Daniel Jones. Wills protected Tua's blindside at right tackle and now will take his crack at it on the left side in the NFL.
I think Tua is easily the better prospect but with the medical concerns I'm going to put Herbert in Miami.
The Chargers need not only a QB of the future, but the buzz that comes along with Tua's name to try and find some fans in LA.
I've seen a lot of people referring to Simmons as a jack of all trades, master of none. That's wrong. He excels at everything.
I've seen a friend of Kliff Kingsbury's mock Brown to the Cardinals and that's enough for me to go that route instead of Tristan Wirfs here.
Cleveland has to improve the OL and a four year starter from the SEC should be able to slide right in.
Sammy D must be protected. Ignore the weird George Fant deal they signed (3 years, $30 million) it's really a one year deal for $9.25 million and he isn't very good.
Someone please figure out the QB situation in Vegas so my guy has a chance.
Jeudy and Deebo Samuel (and George Kittle) is a lot of fun for Jimmy G.
This is a tidy little fit as the Bucs have a need at right tackle and that's where Wirfs started the majority of his games last year for Iowa.
Run far and fast and we'll see how far Lock can throw it.
It's a rough year to need an edge rusher but Chaisson offers the youth and athleticism that promises a lot of upside.
Don't let Justin Herbert die. A lot of OTs are going to come off the board on Thursday night.
The league seems to like Terrell a little more than I do and I'm trying to be accurate here.
First linebacker off the board goes to a team that had some struggles there last year.
Savvy route runner will create some easy windows for Carson Wentz.
Minnesota is in the worst way at cornerback and Fulton is deserving of going in the first. Considered Trevon Diggs here.
Things just tend to fall in their lap.
We're fixing a leaky defense in Minnesota and doing a fine job I must say.
Neither of Miami's inside backers were very good this year. Go save them Patrick.
I told you. A lot of OTs are going in the first round. Get ready for it. Could be Josh Jones too.
The Ravens will enjoy Baun's versatility rushing the passer and dropping in coverage.
Titans lost Jack Conklin in free agency. And I told you, lots of OTs.
Just listening around I'm hearing buzz that Brooks could sneak in to the first round and this is a place that works with the 49ers shopping Kwon Alexander.
I put the best receiving back in the class with Pat Mahomes because it would be fun.
