Dallas Cowboys Route New York Giants 35-17 Behind Dak Prescott's 405 Yards Passing, 4 Touchdowns

ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys offense was like a well-oiled machine on Sunday afternoon .... funny enough, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott agreed as he said the exact same thing after his offense shredded the New York Giants secondary in route to a 35-17 win at AT&T Stadium.
“I will say, it did feel like a well-oiled machine," Prescott said of his piloted offense.
The Giants defense had no answer for Prescott as the fourth-year pro threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns.
Most of those yards came from their trio of receivers as Michael Gallup topped the team with 146 yards on six catches. Amari Cooper had 106 yards on six catches and a touchdown, and Randall Cobb added four catches on 69 yards receving and had a score.
"He looked great, I mean, he threw for 400 yards," Cooper said of his quarterback. "Anytime you throw for 400 yards, that's a great game."
Tight ends Jason Witten and Blake Jarwin caught Prescott's first two touchdown passes of the game. Witten's touchdown gave him 69 for his career, leaving him just two away from Bob Hayes and four away from tying Dez Bryant for the franchise lead.
"It felt good. It felt great to be there back with my guys and great to be back on the field," Elliott said. "Dak had a hell of a performance out there. The defense was really keyed-in to the run and we just have way too many weapons on the outside and we made 'em hurt."
The Cowboys defense did a good job containing Giants second-year back Saquon Barkley after he broke off a 59-yard carry on the opening-drive. Eli Manning and the Giants capped off the drive with a touchdown pass to to tight end Evan Engram to give New York the early 7-0 lead.
