It’s August, which means the Little League World Series tournaments have commenced and there is always a viral moment or two that seems to pop up.

On Tuesday, during a game between Texas West and Louisiana, one batter on Texas West had a priceless reaction to the home plate umpire’s strike call.

The pitch was clearly off the plate, but because this is Little League the strike zone is not going to be perfect. Nonetheless, the batter was still shocked by the call and his jaw dropped in astonishment that it was not called a ball.

The batter stood there for several seconds with his mouth open and even opened up his palm in a state of confusion.

Naturally, many on Twitter resorted to Angel Hernandez jokes with the strike call.

Of course, others on social media defended the umpire and criticized the kid, noting that this is not the major leagues nor professional umpires, so the strike zone is not going to be perfect.

Still, the reaction was priceless and Twitter will take any chance it gets to troll Angel Hernandez.
