The NFL gives teams multiple opportunities to visit with prospects to see if they are a fit for their organization before the 2023 NFL Draft. The first opportunity came at the Scouting Combine earlier this month; when teams were permitted to meet with players formally or informally.
Teams are limited to 45 formal interviews at the combine. These are private conversations in an official team setting. There is no limit to informal interviews, which are more like brief chats at lunch, or a quick conversation in a hallway.
Should teams want to meet with a player again or bring in a player they haven't spoken with yet, they can do so via one of their official 30 visits.
