Todd Archer on Shan & RJ: I believe Tyler Booker was Cowboys' highest-rated OL entering draft

Tyler Booker was the fourth offensive lineman off the board when Dallas selected him with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but it sounds like Dallas liked him more than the three linemen who went before him.

When joining Shan and RJ on Thursday morning, ESPN Cowboys insider Todd Archer said that he believes Booker was not only Dallas' highest-rated player on their draft board at the time of their selection, but he was their highest-rated offensive lineman entering the draft.

Like the rest of us, Archer went on to explain how impressed he was by Booker during the Alabama product's welcoming press conference.

"The next day when that kid came in for that press conference, and I'm not judging the pick by how he talked to us, man, that was impressive," Archer said on 105.3 The Fan. "It's like, okay, now you see what they're getting and what they've done. Schottenheimer was like three feet from me, and the entire time, he was smiling with confidence, saying, "See, this is what we were talking about with this kid.'"

Archer also discussed the team's void at the No. 2 wide receiver spot and their plans to fill it "sooner rather than later," Dak Prescott's health entering 2025, and much more.
