Shan & RJ react to Schottenheimer being favored to be Cowboys' next head coach

DraftKings has set an unexpected candidate as the favorite to be the Cowboys' next head coach: Brian Schottenheimer.

On the latest odds posted by the betting website, the Cowboys offensive coordinator jumped Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore as the favorite for the job. Schottenheimer is now listed at -250 while Moore is has moved to +250.

The news comes after 105.3 The Fan's Shan Shariff reported on Saturday that he was "starting to hear a ton of buzz" about Schottenheimer inside The Star.

Schottenheimer joined Mike McCarthy's staff in 2022 as an offensive analyst and was installed as the offensive coordinator in 2023. However, he didn't call the plays.

Schottenheimer, 51, has previously been the offensive coordinator with the New York Jets, St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

Shan, RJ and Bobby discuss the shift in odds and why it's so shocking to see him become the favorite.
