The 2021 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and the Dallas Cowboys are set to make their selection with the No. 10 over pick.
With 10 total picks, Dallas will have no shortage of options as they attempt to add talent to a roster that on both sides of the ball that suffered through a 6-10 season in 2020.
To help get you ready for the weekend, 105.3 The Fan's Bryan Broaddus has put together his best guess for the Cowboys, and which direction they might take with their picks.
Check out Broaddus's final 7-round Cowboys mock draft below:
Round 1, pick 10: Patrick Surtain, CB, Alabama – Could see Jaycee Horn being the pick here too but I feel that he will be off the board when the Cowboys select. Surtain is an outstanding player and deserves to be selected here.
Round 2, pick 44: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon – This is where the Cowboys get serious about helping the safety position. Holland plays with range and tackles well.
Round 3, pick 75: Alim McNeil, DT, North Carolina State – The club likes what they have with Tristan Hill and Neville Gallimore at the Under Tackle. Time to add a big body at nose and McNeil fits the part.
Round 3, pick 99: D’Ante Smith, OT, East Carolina – Outstanding athlete that will need to add some bulk. For a team that likes to allow their tackles to block in space it’s the right guy.
Round 4, pick 115: Derrick Barnes, LB, Purdue – Would be a great fit in Dan Quinn’s scheme of shorter linebackers that can really run and finish.
Round 4, pick 138: Benjamin St-Juste, CB, Minnesota – The Cowboys stay in the Big 10 and add a corner with length and toughness. St-Juste might even transition to safety one day.
Round 5, pick 179: Josh Palmer, WR, Tennessee – Had a touchdown catch against Patrick Surtain this season. Matter of fact was productive against all cornerbacks in the SEC.
Round 6, pick 192: Patrick Johnson, DE/LB, Tulane – High effort/motor player. Is one of those players that has a feel for how to attack the pocket and make things happen.
Round 6, pick 227: Zach Davidson, TE, Central Missouri – Raw athlete with some fun film. His best football is likely ahead of him. Could go much earlier than where I’ve taken him.
Round 7, pick 238: Jonathan Marshall, DT, Arkansas – You know that Jerry Jones isn’t going to pass on an Arkansas player. Don’t worry this kid can actually play.
