There’s been a lot of discussion around the Cowboys' offensive scheme this offseason. Kellen Moore departed the team after four seasons as its offensive coordinator, and Head Coach Mike McCarthy took on the play-calling responsibilities.

But will we see a tangible difference in the offensive scheme, and in Dak Prescott’s responsibilities, in 2023?

"All the offense is in Dak's hands now. It's not necessarily, you know, being called from Mike or Kel since last year,” Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb told Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan on Monday. “But now it's all on Dak, like, however he's feeling versus the coverage. If he likes the matchup, we're gonna call that play. If he likes whatever he likes versus zone, he's gonna call that play. So technically it's all in Dak's hands."

The added responsibility has actually proved liberating for Prescott, according to Lamb.

“I feel like that opens up the game. That opens up Dak's mind and he doesn't feel so closed off.”

Communication has been a big buzzword for the Cowboys this offseason. A spike in Prescott’s interceptions was often written off by players and coaches as a problem of the quarterback and receivers being on the same page.

Lamb says that point has been routinely emphasized within the walls of The Star.

“It is definitely instilled in this offense, instilled on this team. And we've been working on communication since San Fran, right? So, just being big on that, being on the same page is probably the most important thing in the NFL because everybody's good, everybody's talented, everybody makes plays. The only edge that you can have is being on the same page."

The offensive changes, and the reinvigoration of Prescott, have Lamb issuing a warning to other NFL teams.

“(Dak’s) looking for the deep ball now. So if you're not gonna back up, this is a warning to everybody, if you're not gonna back up, good luck."
