Could the Cowboys be getting help at cornerback sooner than expected?

The Cowboys' cornerback depth could be getting a much-needed boost earlier than expected, with Josh Butler’s rehab progressing ahead of schedule and rookie Shavon Revel making strides in his recovery from a torn ACL he suffered in September at East Carolina.

Revel, the team’s third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, told reporters at rookie minicamp that he's moving well and working closely with the training staff. Still, key questions remain about the readiness of both players and what their availability will mean for the secondary early in the season.
