DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys received some good news on the injury front on Tuesday, when star wideout Amari Cooper stated his intentions to play in Saturday's preseason home opener against the Houston Texans.

Cooper, However, who said he feels 100-percent healthy after his return to practice this week, also said he plans to run the full route tree on Wednesday in order to get a more certain feel for his health.

Should Cooper have no issues running that route tree on Wednesday, the plan for him to start should move forward without any issue, allowing he and quarterback Dak Prescott to take the field in a game scenario together for the first time since last October.

Prescott also plans to make his preseason debut on Saturday against the Texans, as he continues recovering from an arm sprain that had kept him out of practice in recent days.

With both players now seemingly healthy, however, Cowboys fans could finally get their best look at the true Cowboys offense for the first time this preseason -- albeit for a limited amount of snaps.

The Cowboys and Texans will kick off on Saturday at 7 PM at AT&T Stadium.
