Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys feasted on the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving ... literally.

Dallas blew out the Commanders 45-10 thanks to dominant performances from Prescott and the Cowboys defense.

Prescott carved up the Commanders secondary, passing for 331 yards and four touchdowns, the Dallas defense sacked Washington quarterback Sam Howell four times, and cornerback DaRon Bland capped the night off by setting an NFL record by returning an interception for a touchdown for the fifth time this season.

On this Thanksgiving, Prescott was thankful for all of his weapons, connecting with four different receivers for touchdowns and ten different receivers for at least one completion.

Brandin Cooks led the way with four catches fo 73 yards and a touchdown, while CeeDee Lamb had four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. Running back Rico Dowdle had a 15-yard touchdown reception on a screen that was blocked to perfection by Cowboys offensive linemen Tyler Biadasz and Zack Martin.

On his final touchdown, Prescott hit speedster KaVontae Turpin on a 34-yard bomb. Turpin and his teammates headed straight to the Salvation Army red kettle in the back of the end zone where some turkey legs wrapped in foil were awaiting them.

Turpin hopped into the kettle, and in Santa Claus fashion, began passing out legs to Prescott and tight end Jake Ferguson, and began munching on one himself.

“Team effort. Team idea. We talked about it. It was probably a two or three day process. Whether it would be a 15-yard penalty. Whether coach (McCarthy) would accept it," Prescott said when asked how the celebration came about. "I go talk to coach (McCarthy) before every game. I caught him as he was talking to Jerry (Jones). I mentioned it. Of course Jerry liked it."

The feast didn't end there, however, as Bland took a pass attempt from Howell 63 yards the other way for a touchdown, giving Dallas over 40 points for the fourth time this season.

Dallas, now 8-3, will take on the Seattle Seahawks next Thursday night at AT&T Stadium.
