UPDATE: after his visit to the locker room, Lawrence ran back onto the field and to the sideline.
Upon the resumption of the next defensive drive, Lawrence was back on the field.
Dallas Cowboys star defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has been forced to exit the team's Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Giants for a second time, and has made his way to the locker room for further medical evaluation.
Lawrence, who was in the midst of a career night against the Giants, had a career-high tying three sacks before he left the game.
The Cowboys star injured his foot earlier in the game, and made an attempt to come back into the game in the third quarter.
Lawrence is officially listed as questionable to return.
