DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys could be without one of their most talented pass rushers in Week 2, with defensive end Randy Gregory being added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday.
Gregory has been vaccinated, and is reportedly asymptomatic, meaning that he could be removed from that list and be activated to play if he returns two consecutive negative tests that are separated by 24 hours.
Gregory had just one tackle in the Cowboys season-opening loss to Tampa Bay
While the Gregory news was indeed a set back for Dallas, the team also got some positive news on the COVID front on Monday, with starting right guard Zack Martin, as well as back up Brandon Knight being activated from the list.
Martin's activation comes just in time as well, as the Cowboys lost starting right tackle La'el Collins to a five-game suspension following the matchup with Tampa Bay.
It is unclear what the starting line will look like for Dallas when they take the field against the Chargers. However, Martin's presence will certainly help make that process easier.
The Cowboys and Chargers will kick off at 3:25 PM on Sunday.
