ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are back in the win column, and they did it in explosive dominating fashion, blowing the doors off of the Indianapolis Colts 54-19 at AT&T Stadium on Sunday Night Football.
It was far from perfect, and Dallas likely left multiple points on the field due to mistakes and missed opportunities.
However, it made no difference in the end, with Dallas use a franchise record 33-point fourth quarter to get the dominating win, and move to 9-3 on the season.
That dominating effort was once again led by the defense, which despite giving up a few big plays, got those plays back, turning over the Colts five times, including a touchdown on a fumble return from former Colt, Malik Hooker.
Not to be outdone, the offense also looked nearly unstoppable on Sunday, racking up its third 40-point performance of the season, and its second in three weeks.
And the contributions came from everywhere, with both Ezkiel Elliott and Tony Pollard reaching the end zone for a score.
Pollard would end the game as the leading rusher for Dallas, totaling 12 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, quarterback Dak Prescott, who made history by moving into third place all time in Dallas Cowboys franchise history in touchdown passes, completed 20 of 30 passes for 170 yards and three scores.
CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup also got involved in the frenzy, with Lamb finishing with five catches for 71 yards and a touchdown, while Michael Gallup added four catches for 23 yards and two scores of his own.
With the win, the Cowboys will now turn their attention to the 1-10-1 Houston Texans, who will be coming off of their seventh consecutive loss.
