The Dallas Cowboys were brought back down to earth on Sunday afternoon, getting thoroughly dominated by the Buffalo Bills in a 31-10 blowout road loss.

From the outset of the game, it was the Bills to lose, with quarterback Josh Allen and running back James Cook leading Buffalo to two quick touchdowns to take an early 14-0 lead.

The Cowboys were unable to find a true answer, managing just a field goal on their next drive.

After that, it was all Bills, with Buffalo rattling off 17 straight unanswered points, and taking a 31-3 lead late into the fourth quarter.

The Cowboys were able to get a late garbage time touchdown to make the deficit 31-10, but by then it was far too late, with the Bills having already secured the win.

Cook was the the star for the Bills on Sunday, rushing 25 times for 179 yards and a touchdown, and catching two passes for 42 yards and another score.

With those numbers, Cook out gained the entire Cowboys offense, which managed just 195 yards for the entire game.

With the loss, Dallas now drops to 10-4 on the season.

And though they already have a playoff spot secured thanks to a Falcons loss, they will face a two-game gauntlet against the Dolphins and Lions, that could prove troublesome for their home field prospects in the Playoffs.
