DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The bad news won't stop in Dallas.
Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill will miss the rest of the season after he suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the New York Giants, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.
Hill had to be carted off the field in the third quarter after rushing Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.
Hill's absence is major blow to the Cowboys depth at the defensive tackle position. Dontari Poe and Antwaun Woods have been largely ineffective in stopping the run this season, and Dallas already lost Gerald McCoy to a season-ending injury in training camp.
Barring an addition, third-round pick Neville Gallimore should get more opportunities to play moving forward.
Hill joins Dak Prescott, Tyron Smith, La'el Collins, Blake Jarwin, and McCoy on the shelf for the rest of the season.
