ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys got a resounding win on Sunday afternoon against the Los Angeles Rams, running away in blowout fashion with a 43-20 victory.

And from the opening kick, it was clear that the Cowboys were on a mission, with Dak Prescott leading the team down the field for an opening drive score.

Then, after trading field goals with L.A., the Cowboys made their run rattling off 23 unanswered points before a late Rams second quarter score, and taking a 33-9 lead into the locker room at halftime.

In the second half, the Rams looked poised for a patented Matthew Stafford comeback, scoring and converting a two point conversion on their opening drive of the second half, making the score 33-17 Dallas.

Stafford was injured on the two point try, however, and wouldn't return.

Dallas then added another touchdown and a field goal to their total, sealing the win, and moving to 5-2 for the season.

Offensively, it was the Prescott and CeeDee Lamb show for Dallas, with Lamb hauling in a career-high 12 catches for 158 yards and two toucdowns, with Prescott throwing for four touchdowns overall.

Dallas also held L.A. to just 280 yards of total offense, and taking a touchdown back on a Daron Bland pick six.

Following the win, Dallas will now turn its attention to the Philadelphia Eagles in a massive NFC East showdown next Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.
