DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - One by one, NFL teams tweeted out the player or players who made the Pro Bowl from their respective teams. The Cowboys, however, never sent out that sort of a tweet. That's because they didn't have anyone make the team. Not one.

For the first time since 1989, the Cowboys didn't have one Pro Bowler. The only other time Dallas hasn't had a player make the Pro Bowl came in 1986.

The reason the Cowboys didn't have anyone make the team is simple. Injuries.

Perennial Pro Bowlers Tyron Smith and Zack Martin have combined to miss 16 games this season. Quarterback Dak Prescott, who's made the team twice before (2016, 2018), was lost for the season in Week 5. And former center Travis Frederick, a five-time Pro Bowler, retired before the season.
