DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys continued their search for a new offensive coordinator to replace Kellen Moore on Thursday, interview Vikings tight ends coach/passing game coordinator Brian Angelichio, per reports.

Angelichio was part of a Vikings offensive staff that had one of the most explosive units in the NFL, finishing seventh in the league in total offense, sixth in passing offense and eighth in scoring offense.

The Vikings also had arguably the top quarterback wide receiver combo in NFC, with Kirk Cousins finishing the regular season completing 424 of 643 passes for 4,547 yards and 29 touchdowns, while Justin Jefferson hauled in 128 catches on 184 targets for 1,809 yards and eight scores.

Angelichio has already interview for other offensive coordinator positions as well, and has scheduled a second interview with the Baltimore Ravens.

Angelichio also has experience with Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy, serving as the Packers’ tight ends coach under McCarthy for three seasons in Green Bay.
