Jerry Jones at Cowboys pre-draft press conference: “We’re very proud of this roster"

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, EVP Stephen Jones and head coach Mike McCarthy held their annual pre-NFL Draft press conference on Tuesday afternoon at The Star, however, the reporters on hand were more focused on the team's disappointing offseason as opposed to what they were looking to accomplish this week in the draft.

At the Senior Bowl in January, Jerry Jones said he was "all-in" this offseason, but later walked back the comments at the NFL Combine. The Cowboys, of course, weren't "all-in" on bringing in free agents this offseason, as they've only signed two outside free agents this offseason to minimum deals (LB Eric Kendricks and RB Royce Freeman) and have yet to come to an agreement with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb or Micah Parsons on extensions.

Fans have been clamoring for more additions through trade or free agency, but it appears that Jones is content with where the roster stands heading into the draft.

"We’re very proud of this roster. We feel very, very good about the promise of this roster this season. We feel great about what we’ve been in free agency. We're all-in. We are all-in on this draft."

You can listen to the entire press conference in the podcast above.
