DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys added another linebacker to the fold on Saturday afternoon, drafting Oklahoma State's Devin Harper with the No. 193 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Despite his sixth round landing spot, Harper was one of the Cowboys 30 visitors in the pre-draft process, and possesses elite measurable traits across the board.
A team captain and Honorable Mention All-Big 12 performer in 2021, Harper was also First Team All-Academic Big 12 to go alongside of a breakout 2021 campaign.
Harper spent six seasons in Stillwater with the Cowboys, spending the majority of the first five seasons as a special teams player.
However, after electing to use his sixth year of eligibility due to COVID-19, Harper exploded onto the scene for Oklahoma State, making 96 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and six sacks and starting all 13 games.
Harper also added 15 quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries to his stat line.
