Cowboys' Prescott set to return to practice on limited basis

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys received some good news over the weekend, when Dak Prescott got the results from his Saturday MRI, and revealed the best possible scenario for the star quarterback.

Prescott was originally sidelined from practice on July 28th, due to a latissimus strain, but after throwing well and without pain over the weekend, the Cowboys elected to accelerate his timetable a bit.

As a result, Prescott is set to return to practice on Monday at The Star-- albeit, in a limited capacity.

Barring any setbacks in practice throughout the week, Prescott also plans to start the Cowboys Saturday night preseason home opener against the Houston Texans.

The Cowboys and Texans kick of at 7 pm CT from AT&T Stadium.
