DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys re-signed an impact defensive player on Monday afternoon, retaining safety Jayron Kearse on a two-year $10 million deal, with the possibility of making up to $11 million with incentives.

Coming off of his first year with the Cowboys, Kearse enjoyed a revival of a season in Arlington, finishing with 101 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 10 passes defended, and six quarterback hits -- all career-highs.
Kearse also had a career-best two interceptions and the first full sack of his six seasons in the league.
With Kearse now signed, the Cowboys will return both of their impact safeties from last season, with Malik Hooker also re-signing with the team this offseason.
Next on the list for Dallas, will be finding a replacements for Randy Gregory and La'el Collins, both of whom left via free agency.
