The Cowboys' special teams unit has taken a hit with the losses of Noah Brown and Luke Gifford in free agency this week, but Dallas got one of its key contributors back on Thursday.

The Cowboys announced that they have re-signed cornerback C.J. Goodwin to a one-year deal. Terms of the deal are unknown.

Goodwin has spent most of his time on special teams in his five seasons with the Cowboys. He has played in all 50 games over the past three seasons after missing the 2019 season.
