DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - In the midst of Odell Beckham Jr. watch, the Dallas Cowboys made a minor house keeping move on Tuesday, waiving defensive end Tarrell Basham.
Basham played in 19 games for Dallas, starting six, and making 39 tackles, three tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hits and 3.5 sacks over that time.
The Cowboys had recently signed former first round pick Takk McKinley to the practice squad, and currently have plenty of depth at the position.
Dallas is also one of, if not the main favorite for free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is meeting with the team this week.
The Cowboys will be without Basham for their next opponent on Sunday night, the Indianapolis Colts.
