Cowboys send defensive tackle Jordan Phillips to IR

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Now, they have suffered a loss to the roster.


On Wednesday, the Cowboys moved defensive tackle Jordan Phillips to injured reserve with a wrist injury, according to reports from ESPN's Todd Archer.

To replace Phillips, the Cowboys have signed defensive tackle Carlos Watkins off of the Commanders practice squad.

The Cowboys acquired Phillips this offseason in a trade with the Giants. Before joining the Giants, he and spent time with the Buffalo Bills in 2022 and 2023.

Last season, Phillips underwent wrist surgery that forced him to miss the last the last three weeks of the regular season, as well as the playoffs.

He will now miss at least the next four games.

He has logged one tackle and two QB pressures for the Cowboys so far this season.

Recent
