Cowboys sign edge rusher KJ Henry, move DeMarcus Lawrence to IR

The Dallas Cowboys lost both of their starting edge rushers in Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence for multiple weeks to lower body injuries in the team's 20-15 win over the New York Giants on Thursday.

In response to those losses, the Cowboys have acquired a new pass rusher, signing edge rusher K.J. Henry from the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad to a two-year deal on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Last season, Henry was with the Washington Commanders, notching 1.5 sacks and 19 tackles in 10 games.

In a corresponding move, the Cowboys have sent Lawrence to injured reserve, meaning that he will be out for at least the next four weeks.

Lawrence suffered a Lisfranc injury on Thursday and could miss up to eight weeks.
