DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys made an intriguing move on Tuesday, signing former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver standout Martavis Bryant to their practice squad.
At one time, Bryant was an explosive and intriguing young wide receiver prospect, catching 14 touchdowns in his first two seasons in the NFL.
However, after multiple suspensions due to his violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy, Bryant's career was derailed, eventually leading to his being traded to then Oakland Raiders in 2018.
Then, after violating the terms of his conditional reinstatement, Bryant was indefinitely from the NFL.
Bryant then moved on to the Canadian Football League, the Indoor Football League, Fan Controlled Football, and finally the XFL, before the Cowboys signed him.
