DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys COO Stephen Jones joined K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 the fan on Monday afternoon, to discuss his team's win over the Philadelphia Eagles, and the upcoming matchup against the New York Giants.
During the interview, Jones was asked about All Pro offensive lineman Zack Martin's health, and his availability for what could prove to be a vital game next weekend.
Jones, while not assuring Martin would play on Sunday, also did not rule out the possibility of his return to the lineup, a move that would surely help the Cowboys chances at reclaiming the NFC East title.
"Zack's been week to week," Jones said in the interview. "We really didn't think he had any opportunity, but in reality, as we were working through his injury, the best of the best options would be the last game of the season. So we'll see how he does this week, and obviously make a decision that's in his best interest and our best interest here as we see how he works during the week."
Martin, who has missed the previous four games after being placed on injured reserve, injured his calf in the team's week 12 loss to the Washington Football Team.
