The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their preseason slate on Saturday night against the Las Vegas Raiders in convincing fashion, taking home a 31-16 win at AT&T Stadium.
And what's more impressive? The Cowboys didn't need their starters to do it.
From the first drive of the night for Dallas it was the Will Grier show. With Dak Prescott calling the plays, Grier was on fire, completing 29 of 35 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions. He also ran 10 times for 53 yards and two more scores.
On the receiving end of Grier's impressive performance were Tyron Johnson, who finished with a team-high five catches for 90 yards. While running back hunter luepke finished with five catches 60 yards and a touchdown, on top of his 15 carries for 58 yards on the ground.
Rookie tight end Luke Schoonmaker also made an impact, hauling in a touchdown pass of his own.
With the preseason now in the books, Dallas can look forward to their regular season opener against the Giants on September 10 in New York, where we will get our first full look at the Cowboys new-look roster.
Kick off is set for 7:20 PM from MetLife Stadium.
