DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys fears became have become a reality.
During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Cowboys COO Stephen Jones confirmed that tight end Blake Jarwin will undergo season-ending knee surgery.
"It's pretty clear that Jarwin is unfortunately going to have to have his ACL repaired, and we all know what that means. Obviously a tough loss for us," Jones said.
Multiple outlets were reporting that Jarwin tore his ACL in Sunday night's game.
Jarwin was injured while running a route on the Cowboys final drive of the second quarter. He fell to the ground and reached for his knee.
The team should make an announcement on his injury after the game.
Dalton Schultz and Blake Bell will take over at tight end.
This is a developing news story.
