Report: Cowboys to activate Lamb, 2 others from COVID-19 list

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys are getting healthier when it comes to the COVID-19 protocols with the season set to kick off a week from today.

Dallas will reportedly activate wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, safety Damontae Kazee and defensive tackle Carlos Watkin from the reserve/COVID list, Todd Archer of ESPN reported Thursday morning.

All three players were placed in the COVID protocol after testing positive for the virus despite being fully vaccinated.

To create room on the 53-man roster, the Cowboys could move some players to injured reserve, Archer adds. Those players are defensive tackle Neville Gallimore (elbow), tight end Sean McKeon (ankle) and offensive tackle Josh Ball (ankle).
