DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboy will not practice Thursday as they take the day to remember their strength and conditioning coach, Markus Paul, who passed away suddenly at the age of 54 last week.

Coach Mike McCarthy says the team will participate virtually in a memorial for Paul, while Paul's family will be at a local church where the service will be held.

Paul passed away in a local hospital last week, surrounded by family and friends, the Cowboys said in a statement.

The Cowboys will have a lighter than normal practice Wednesday, McCarthy said. And they'll watch their next opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, take on the Pittsburgh Steelers Wednesday afternoon.

McCarthy says the players will watch the game with their position groups as they continue to try and remain socially distant due to COVID-19.
