Cowboys to sign veteran DT Linval Joseph

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones indicated earlier this week that the team wasn't done adding bodies to the defensive line, and the organization did just that on Wednesday.

According to Josina Anderson, Dallas is signing free agent defensive tackle Linval Joseph.

Joseph will earn $2.5 million guaranteed in 2025 and can earn up to $4 million in incentives, according to Mike Garafolo.

Joseph, 35, was a two-time Pro Bowler in 2016 and 2017 while playing under former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, who is now the Cowboys defensive coordinator.

Joseph appeared in seven games for the Buffalo Bills last season in his 14th NFL season. He has also played for the New York Giants, Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles.

In 186 career games across 14 seasons, Joseph has totaled 676 tackles, 26.5 sacks, 77 quarterback hits and eight forced fumbles.

Joseph is the latest addition to the Cowboys' defense after Dallas traded for defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and signed defensive end Carl Lawson last week.
