Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks to miss time with knee issue

The Dallas Cowboys were already heading into their matchup with the 3-1 Pittsburgh Steelers without their top two pass rushers.

Now, they'll be without one of their top receivers as well.

According to a report from ESPN's Todd Archer, Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks will miss Sunday's matchup at Acrisure Stadium with an infection in his knee.

The infection reportedly developed after Cooks underwent a procedure in New York following the team's 20-15 win over the Giants on Thursday.

It is also conceivable that Cooks could potentially miss multiple weeks according to Archer.

So far this season, Cooks ranks fourth on the team in receiving yards behind CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Tolbert and Jake Ferguson, bringing in nine catches for 91 yards and one touchdown.
