ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch will be back in the lineup for tonight's matchup vs the Arizona Cardinals.

Vander Esch has missed the last four games after he suffered a broken clavicle in the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

The linebacker was added to the active roster earlier Monday, taking the place of quarterback Dak Prescott, who will miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

Vander Esch's addition will bring some much-needed help to a linebacker group that has struggled so far this season. It's possible that he won't see a full workload as the Cowboys look to ease him in over the next two games.

Quarterback Ben DiNucci, receiver Malik Turner, defensive back Saivion Smith, safety Reggie Robinson III and linebacker Rashad Smith are all inactive.
