Does Mike McCarthy deserve more praise for the Cowboys' offensive turnaround?

After getting blown out in San Francisco in Week 5, the questions about Mike McCarthy's play calling were at an all time high. But since then the team has produced four 40 point games and has only lost once. Does McCarthy deserve more credit?
