Per an announcement from the team, the Eagles will sign Leonard to a one-year deal.
In a surprising move, Leonard was recently released by the Colts, with the Eagles and Cowboys emerging as the two primary contenders for his signature.
However, after visiting both teams, Leonard ultimately elected to sign with Philadelphia, and will now line up against the Cowboys on Sunday.
In his career, Leonard has 614 total tackles in his six seasons, including 163 in his rookie campaign. He has also been named a first-team All-Pro three times, second-team All-Pro once, and made three Pro Bowls.
Leonard has had injury issues over the last two seasons, however, playing just three games in 2022. He has played in nine games of the Colts 10 games with nine starts in 2023.
