DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is being sued by a Frisco woman who was allegedly attacked by his dog in May.

The lawsuit was first distributed by TMZ, which reports that Jennifer Gampper is asking for more than $1 million in damages after she says she suffered "severe and permanent injuries" in the incident.

Elliott was issued three citations after his Rottweiler escaped his property while a landscaping crew was working in his yard and allegedly bit two people on May 20, our media partner NBCDFW reported. The three citations were issued by Frisco police because all three of Elliott's dogs were on the loose in the neighborhood.

According to the police report, both victims were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

"Mr. Elliott and his representatives are aware of the lawsuit filed on July 30th, which stems from a previously reported incident from May 21st of this year.  As Mr. Elliott expressed at that time, he was - and remains concerned - for the party involved," Elliott's attorney Frank Salzano said to TMZ.

"However, as in most disputes, there are extenuating circumstances to this matter which will impact the legal proceedings which we are not at liberty to disclose.  As such, we have no further comment at this time."

TMZ reports that the Rottweiler, named Ace, had a "dangerous dog hearing" after the incident, and was "required to be removed from the city."

And that wasn't the first time Ace had been in trouble.

Last year, a pool cleaner sued Elliott, saying the Rottweiler bit her on the arm and dragged her.
