DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Aldon Smith, who signed with the Seattle Seahawks last week, is reportedly wanted in Louisiana on alleged battery charges that occurred on April 17th.
Travers Mackel of WDSU in New Orleans was the first to report the wanted bulletin for Smith's arrest.
The bulletin, which cites allegations of second-degree battery, stems from an incident involving Smith at a French Press Coffee House in Chalmette Louisiana, just over eight miles from New Orleans.
According to the release, Smith was last seen driving a white Nissan sedan with an unknown license plate.
Mackel also cites that there is allegedly video evidence of the incident implicating Smith, per law enforcement officials.
Smith, who signed with the Cowboys on a one-year deal last offseason, had been out of the NFL for four seasons due to legal troubles.
