DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - For the first time in nearly a decade, the Dallas Cowboys will be entering their offseason program without veteran defensive lineman and former captain Tyrone Crawford, who retired from the NFL last month.
However, it seems that Crawford may not be entirely finished with his football player career, with reports surfacing that the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League have added the former Cowboy to their exclusive negotiation list.
Crawford would not be the first former NFL Standout to also spend time in the CFL, with players like Warren Moon, Doug Flutie, Joe Theisman, Cameron Wake, Joe Horn, Ricky Williams, Brandon Browner, and even former Cowboys wideout Rocket Ismail each making impacts in the league.
A native of Ontario Canada, The Cowboys selected Crawford with the No. 81 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, where he stayed with the team for eight seasons and appeared in 117 games, starting 79, and accumulating 194 tackles, 65 quarterbacks hits, 33 tackles for loss, and 25 sacks.
