A team of doctors who treated Bills safety Damar Hamlin say the McKees Rocks native is back in Buffalo a week after he went into cardiac arrest on the field during a game in Cincinnati.

Hamlin had to be given CPR for over 15 minutes. He was resuscitated on the field and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Being discharged is another sign of the remarkable progress the Pitt alum has made over the past week.
“Dr. William Knight said he was "doing well."
Hamlin's return comes a day after he cheered on the Bills from his hospital bed during their 35-23 win over the New England Patriots.
The game proved to be a cathartic outpouring of support for the Bills and Hamlin.
On Monday afternoon, there will be a special prayer service for Hamlin at Sto Rox High School's football field,
Hamlin played high school football at Central Catholic.
His chasing Ms foundation which helps youth in the McKees Rocks area has garnered more than 8 and a half million dollars since last week's injury.
