Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert signed a massive five-year, $262.5 million contract on Monday. The contract includes up to $218 million in total potential guarantees, second to Browns QB Deshaun Watson's deal which includes $230 million guaranteed.
Herbert is now the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, earning $52.5 million per season, just a half-million more than what Ravens QB Lamar Jackson will get each year on the contract he signed this offseason.
The Cowboys have touched base with their own quarterback Dak Prescott about an extension after he signed a four-year, $160 million deal in 2021. What will Herbert's contract mean for Prescott's next deal? Shan, RJ and Bobby discussed that topic on Wednesday's show.
