DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The NFL passed a new rule on Tuesday afternoon, allowing players to don the No. 0 during games next season for the first time in league history.
And as expected, as soon as the rule passed, Cowboys players began to push for a number change with the team.
Seemingly first in line for that honor was Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons, tweeting that he was soon to become 'Agent 0'.
"Im switching!!" Parsons tweeted. "Agent 0 coming soon!"
However, it appears as though starting Cowboys safety, Jayron Kearse has already beaten Parsons to the punch, securing the number for himself instead, and bragging about in a tweet of his own.
"Too late, lol," responded Kearse.
This surely comes as good news for fans of Parsons, who currently sits as the league's No. 2 best selling jersey behind only Josh Allen, and ahead of Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.
He also sits ahead of teammates CeeDee Lamb, and Dak Prescott, who came at in No. 4 and No. 6, respectively in the January poll.
