DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirmed that center Joe Looney will miss some time after he reportedly suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee in Sunday's 49-38 loss to Cleveland.

ESPN's Todd Archer was the first to report on Looney's injury Tuesday.

When asked if Looney would be out for "a couple of weeks" with the injury, Jones said, "it does."

Jones went on to say that Looney "would be missed," and that rookie Tyler Biadasz "should be able to rise to the occasion" in his place this Sunday vs the Giants and beyond.

Biadasz was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin.
