DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys have a multitude of questions facing their team heading into next weekend's home matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Chief among those questions, will be the availability of left tackle Tyron Smith, who has been out since the midway point of the Cowboys win over the Minnesota Vikings two weeks ago.

And according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Smith's status is largely still unclear.

"We'll see," Jones told 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ. "It'll be dictated by the amount of pain he can withstand. There's not a lot you can do other than rest it or try it. ... I don't view it as long-term."

Jones did also note that there is no danger in Smith worsening his injury should he attempt to play on Sunday, and that it will continue to get better as time goes on.

Without Smith in the lineup, and with Terence Steele being inserted as his replacement, the Cowboys struggled to move the football in a big way against Denver, amassing just 290 yards of total offense for the game -- the majority of which came in garbage time with the game already out of reach.

Prescott was also sacked twice, hit five times, and constantly pressured throughout the day, resulting in a 24.1 QBR for the Cowboys star.

Dallas and Atlanta will kick off at noon on Sunday, with the Cowboys favored by two scores.
