Jerry Jones tells all-time story about Cowboys mascot Rowdy
Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones likes to tell stories. And he had a wild one for us on Tuesday.
Jones was asked on Shan and RJ on 105.3 The Fan whether Rowdy was preventing linebacker DeMarvion Overshown from being permitted to change to his preferred No. 0 because it's been the mascot's number since his inception in 1996.
Rather than answer the question, Jones sat us all down for story time. And he sure didn't disappoint.
Jones recalled his interactions with one of the people who previously portrayed Rowdy after they made multiple missteps within a month.
The story revolves around Rowdy soaking fans with a water gun and parking the mascot's vehicle at a strip club.
We would write the quotes out for you, but it wouldn't do the story justice.
