FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are of the opinion that their roster, on the day before Tuesday’s NFL cutdown to 53, is a deep one.
Meanwhile, as COO Stephen Jones likes to tell us, he and the Cowboys are in the personnel business "365 days a year.''
Put those two concepts together and you have a trio of "rumor'' names that, considering the quality of the media origins, are probably more accurately defined as "factual'' names.
All three names come from "G-Bag Nation'' on 105.3 The Fan.
Our guy Jeff Cavanaugh has , again, a “rumor” that sounds more like fact: "If the Cowboys can find a taker,” he writes on Twitter, “you might hear trades of Brandon Knight/Bradlee Anae …”

Knight is a backup offensive lineman who the previous coaching staff had a fondness for. Anae was drafted a year ago in the fifth and has flashed this summer, but is trying to get snaps as part of a deep group.
Meanwhile, fellow "G-Bag'' host Bryan Broaddus bills his juicy nugget as "whispers you hear,'' and suggests the Los Angeles Rams punter Johnny Hekker - a member of the NFL All-Decade Team - "might get released and head to Dallas to reunite with (Cowboys special-teams coordinator John) Fassel.
