There are big changes coming to the Dallas Mavericks.

According to reports from NBA Insider Marc Stein, the Dallas Mavericks are selling a 'significant' share of the team to billionaire Miriam Adelson.

The deal, which is worth upwards of $3.5 billion, would allow Cuban to retain operational control of the team.

Adelson who is worth $32 billion, recently sold $2 billion of her shares in the Las Vegas Sands with the intent to invest in a sports team.

As a franchise, the Mavericks are currently valued at $4.5 billion.
