DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - It's never a good thing when players are added to the injury report midweek.

Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons was added to the practice report Thursday with a shoulder injury, but he was able to get in a limited practice.
What may be more concerning is that rookie defensive end Sam Williams, who had the best game of his career against the Lions last week when he sacked Jared Goff twice, was added to the report with a knee injury. Williams was listed as a non-participant Thursday.
Neither player was on the report Wednesday.
As for the rest of the injury report, running back Ezekiel Elliott sat out his second straight practice with a sprained knee. Elliott was seen on Thursday working on the side with the team's director of rehabilitation Britt Brown.
Wide receiver Noah Brown (foot) and safety Malik Hooker (hamstring) also didn't practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice.
Right tackle Terence Steele (neck), tight end Dalton Schultz (neck) and linebacker Devin Harper were limited.
